Hon File Cabinet Locks
Several office file cabinets come with a pre-installed lock to for added safety and security. Basically there are two kinds of locks, which include the cam lock and the plunger lock.
A cam lock functions when a key revolves the lock. This is the better known style that most folks are more accustomed with. Like the cam lock, a plunger lock utilizes a key as well but it can also be locked by simply sinking the body of the lock. There were numerous basic locks available for filing cabinets, but for ultra private and critical files that need added security, more modern units are a must-have.
There is now a large range of modern units available for use with office filing cabinets. Some find numeric locks much better in provisions of high security and convenience. There are products that, when used, engage unique locking features that will be deployed together with standard drawer catches on the side of the drawers in vertical files. These are known as manipulation-proof combo locks. Then there are even more sophisticated mix units, which present 3 levels of function, such as dual operation, presenting literally millions of potential combinations.
Except for modern combination type you need to also consider the electronic file cabinet locks. Electronic units typically have a master code, where you can easily manage who can access the file cabinet by removing, adding or changing more than 5 different user codes. You will also be ready to lock your drawers automatically when the lock is closed. Most electronic lock models also have an integrated battery feature so you can still access the contents if the power goes out.
The most famous file cabinet manufacturer is Hon file cabinets. As such, most shoppers searching for replacement file cabinet locks are searching specifically for the Hon models. There are a number of companies who carry the Hon line of cabinets, but don’t sell the file locks. In addition, there are also manufacturers who make aftermarket file cabinet locks, most Hon file cabinets will only accept original Hon replacement parts.

Not Accepted Anywhere [UK] $7.17 The Automatic Automatic released their debut full-length, Not Accepted Anywhere, in their native Britain in mid-2006 to a fair amount of success, helped no doubt by a series of well-attended and -received live appearances. A year later, under the name the Automatic (reasons for the switch were unclear, as they remain the unmodified form in the U.K.) reissued their album — with a new cover — in the U.S. With a slot on 2007′s Warped Tour, there’s no reason why the band shouldn’t find a similarly attentive audience in America. A mix of Futureheads harmonies, Bloc Party-esque guitar work, a lead singer who seems to have taken some cues from Against Me’s Tom Gabel, plus a healthy dose of modern rock and pop punk, the Automatic Automatic/the Automatic provides more of that vaguely angular, post-punk dance-rock that took over indie nightclubs in the early 2000s. But despite the individual talent and innovation of their various influences, the band still comes across as derivative, a whole that’s much less than the sum of its parts, instead of as an entity with its own ideas to add to the scene. Their songs are formulaic: short, repetitive verses and choruses that lay over sharply produced guitars and synths — executed best in the admittedly catchy “Monster” and worst in the overly simplistic “Keep Your Eyes Peeled,” which recycles three phrases over and over again until they’ve lost their significance, disintegrate and blow away. This reliance on the same approach to each piece does mean that Not Accepted Anywhere is a fairly consistent album, with no tracks that stick out unwieldily from the rest, but it also means that there’s not much here — neither hooks nor compelling vocals — to give it much staying power past a listen or two.
